(KMOV) – A St. Louis area pizza delivery man is back at work Thursday night after standing up to two robbers Wednesday night.
Peter Chafin, an employee from Elicia’s Pizza on Gravois, says he was pistol whipped by two robbers after refusing to hand over what little money he had to the thieves
Sources say the robbers gave up on Chafin and were determined and targeted two other pizza delivery men.
Police met the robbers on the third attempt, on the 4100 block of Taft, where police shot one suspect and caught the other suspect. Police also shot a 16-year old in the hand and the leg.
Local pizzerias were alerted of the potential danger for drivers after the first attempted robbery.
Police have two suspects in custody and are still searching for a third.
