(KMOV) - Lanes have re-opened after an overturned semi-truck blocked the eastbound entrance ramp out of downtown St. Louis and onto the Poplar Street Bridge.
It happened on Wednesday morning around 9:00 a.m. on I-70 near Memorial Drive.
Eastbound traffic on and below the bridge was blocked.
The truck flipped and was stuck between the I-70 and I-55 overpasses.
A spokesman with the fire department said that the driver was hauling 40,000 pounds of apples. The spokesman also said that speed is being investigated as a factor in this flip.
