COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) -- Missouri scored six runs in the second inning and held on to defeat Texas Tech 9-5 Saturday.
Greg Folgia opened the second with a home run and the first seven hitters in the inning reached safely for Missouri (23-21, 10-10 Big 12).
Kyle Mach had a solo home run in the third, went 2-for-4 and scored twice for Missouri.
Texas Tech (20-26, 9-11) scored four runs in the fifth on a two-run double by a Michael Reed and a two-run home run by Jeremy Mayo.
