ST. LOUIS (KMOV) -- While there is no snow, sleet or freezing rain falling right now, drivers should still be cautious on untreated surfaces.
Since temperatures will not get above the freezing mark, any ice and snow on untreated surfaces will not melt, making some roadways very slick.
Traffic was not nearly as slow as it was on Tuesday, but drivers are still encountering delays possibly related to leftover ice.
Drivers should also watch out for refreezing on major roadways.
Temperatures will remain very cold through today.
Things will warm up to the 40's on Thursday, but there is rain in the forecast.
Those planning travel should have warm clothing with them in case they encounter trouble during their trip.
