Columbia, MO (KMOV) -- Hold the phone on that whole weather-being-a-problem-for-the-Tigers deal.
We're not three yet three minutes in here at Faurot Field, and the Tigers look dominant. Derrick Washington gave the Wolf Pack a taste of its own medicine with a 59-yard touchdown run on the play's opening drive. After a defensive stand at midfield, the Tigers followed by demonstrating that the passing game isn't worried about the conditions either, with Chase Daniel and Jeremy Maclin hooking up for an 80-yard scoring pass on the second drive's first play.
The stands have filled a bit more, although we're still far from capacity. The crowd brought its first real roar of the day after the second touchdown when it was announced that Daniel has become the all-time passing yardage leader in school history breaking the record formerly held by Brad Smith. Congratulations, Chase.
