(KMOV.com) - Police have a suspect in custody in connection with a murder that occurred in the Wells-Goodfellow neighborhood Sunday night.
Authorities said Richard Watson, 43, surrendered to homicide detectives after warrants were issued for first degree murder, first degree assault and two counts of armed criminal action.
Watson is accused of shooting Demetrius Griffin, 20, in the head, neck, jaw, and arm in the 2600 block of Burd. Watson is also accused of shooting Griffin’s 16-year-old brother in both ankles.
According to police, Demetrius Griffin is listed in critical condition at a local hospital. Griffin’s brother was listed in stable condition following the shooting.
