(KMOV) – A former volunteer firefighter pleaded guilty to four counts of arson after setting a series of fires in Lincoln County.
Dustin Grigsby, 19, admitted to setting four fires in occupied buildings last summer. In one of the cases, a man in his 70s had to be rescued from the second floor of this home.
Grigsby’s sentencing is set for June 4.
Grigsby was a volunteer firefighter for the Old Monroe Fire Protection District, but was relieved his duties after he was arrested. Authorities said he admitted he was behind 11 total arsons.
