(KMOV) – Two brothers face charges after they allegedly stole more than $1,500 worth of liquor from at least one Franklin County store.

Nicholas Salisbury, 29, and Jeffrey Salisbury, 27, were charged with second-degree burglary and stealing.

According to police, the brothers stole several bottles from the Washington Walmart SuperCenter on Nov. 20. Police say the store later reported $1,577 worth of liquor was missing.

Police say one of the suspects had already been caught attempting to steal two laptop computers from the same Walmart store several days before.

Police are investigating whether the brothers are responsible for similar thefts at Walmart locations in Des Peres, Eureka, Ellisville and Union.
