3 Arrested in south St. Louis copper gutter thefts
(KMOV.com) Officials say that three suspects were apprehended when they ran from a pick-up truck at the emergency entrance to Barnes-Jewish Hospital and attempted to enter Forest Park on foot. By Stephanie Baumer
(KMOV.com) -- Authorities arrested three men they say are responsible for stealing copper gutters from four homes in south St. Louis.
Police report that copper gutters were stolen from four homes located near Delor and Macklind Ave. A witness reported seeing three suspects flee the area in a white truck, headed east on Delor.
Officials say that the suspect vehicle was stopped near the emergency entrance to Barnes-Jewish Hospital. Two suspects, 32-year-old and 36-year-old black males, were apprehended at the vehicle.
The third suspect, a 36-year-old black male, ran toward Forest Park. He was taken into custody after a short pursuit.
