(KMOV.com) -- Residents of Creve Coeur may have to pay extra fees for rear trash pick-up.
The Creve Coeur City Council will vote Monday night on a measure that would require residents to pay $15 a month for alley pick-up.
The mayor of Creve Coeur says the change will save the city hundreds of thousands of dollars a year.
Under the new plan, the city would still pay for curbside pick-up.
The council has passed an amendment waiving the fee for those who can prove they have a reason they cannot move their trash can.
