(KMOV.com) -- Police are searching for a suspect who committed a smash-and-grab burglary at a Rock Hill wing restaurant Thursday morning.

Authorities say a car pulled up to the St. Louis Wing Co. in the 9000 block of Manchester Rd around 1:26 a.m.

Police say a man got out of the vehicle, threw a brick through the door and kicked out the glass.

The suspect went in, grabbed the register and ran out.

According to police, there was no money inside of the register.

Police then headed to another smash-and-grab in the 8500 block of Manchester in Brentwood. It was not known if the two were connected.

The investigation is ongoing.
