(KMOV.com) -- The St. Louis Zoo will be extending its hours during the July 4 weekend due to Fair St. Louis, which will be held in Forest Park this year.
July 3 to 5, all of the zoo’s exhibits and attractions will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., except River’s Edge and the Red Rocks area, which will close at 7:00 p.m.
The Stingrays at Caribbean Cove will be open until 9:00 p.m. Gift shops at the north and south entrances, and the Lakeside Cafe will be open until 10:00 p.m. The Emerson Zooline Railroad will run until 8:00 p.m.
Zoo entrances will be open through 11:30 p.m. after the fair closes at 10:30 p.m.
Parking on the zoo’s south and north lots will be $30.00 from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., July 3 to 5.
Parking is available at the zoo’s expansion site across Highway I-64/40 at $15.00 per vehicle. A free shuttle to zoo will run until 11:30 p.m. each night during the fair.
