(KMOV) -- Crews battled a fire that broke out at the Saint Louis Zoo Monday afternoon.

The fire started at a kettle corn kiosk near Gate 1 inside the zoo’s south entrance off Hampton around 12:30 p.m.

Firefighters arrived to the scene and put the blaze out.

The fire was isolated to the kiosk and did not spread.

Everyone in the immediate area evacuated to the parking lot while crews cleared the scene. No injuries were reported.

The south entrance, all exhibits, and the train are now open. The immediate area around the kiosk remains closed.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
