(KMOV.com) -- The City of St. Peters' Solid Waste Department is collecting special yard waste and storm debris from residents affected by the severe storm and tornado on Saturday.

This service is available to St. Peters residents who live in subdivisions along McClay Road and south of McClay Road.

Residents can call 636-970-1456, option 1, to schedule a pickup.

Special collections will take place on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays beginning on June 10. The program will end June 23.

Limbs must be no longer than 8 feet in length and should be set at the curb.

Residents also can leave bundled storm debris at the curb on their normal yard waste collection days. These bundles can be no longer than 3 feet in length.

This service will end June 23.

Residents can take storm debris to St. Peters’ Earth Centre location at no charge. Proof of residency is required.
