(KMOV.com) – More details are surfacing about a man who threatened violence against a judge and said he would blow up the courthouse.
Jefferson County Sheriff’s officials said a 22-year-old Stephen Cleveland may have held some resentment against one of the county judges because of a ruling in Cleveland’s child custody battle.
Officials said Cleveland left voicemails Wednesday warning of violence and a bomb.
“When it’ a judge, we know in our business you make half the people happy and half the people unhappy, depending on decisions that are made. So it’s very serious business,” said Steve Meinberg from the Jefferson Co. Sheriff’s Office.
Investigators found Cleveland in St. Louis City. He is currently facing two felonies and other charges. Cleveland is held on a $250,000 bond.
