FAIRVIEW HEIGHTS, Ill. – Two men were arrested when police said they were illegally going door-to-door while attempting to sell magazines in Fairview Heights neighborhoods.
Police said Michael McIntosh, 24, and Dashon Hunter, 34, were arrested Tuesday in the 200 block of Blanc Lee Drive.
McIntosh, who is from Chicago, was identified as being wanted by the Illinois Department of Corrections for parole violation. He violated the conditions of his release from prison following a felony gun possession in Cook County, Illinois in 2009, police said.
Hunter was cited and released.
