(KMOV.com) – A Fenton man faces charges after police say he threatened to kill his wife at a Chesterfield business.

Brian Warren, 32, was charged with first-degree domestic assault and armed criminal action.

Police say Warren walked into a business in the 173000 block of North Outer Forty Road around 3 p.m. Friday.

He then allegedly took out a machete and threatened to kill his wife, who works at the business.

Authorities say Warren then fled east on Highway 40 before he was caught near the Mason Rd. exit.

Warren was arrested and taken into custody, where he remains on a $75,000 cash-only bond.
