(KMOV) The Spirit of St. Louis Air Show will not be held in 2015, event officials announced Monday.
Officials say between 125,000 and 175,000 people attended this year’s show, which was held May 3 and May 4 at the Spirit of St. Louis Airport in Chesterfield.
“We have already made the decision to not hold the event in 2015, but we are strongly considering holding the event in future years,” said Mark I. Sutherland , a spokesperson with the Spirit of St. Louis Air Show & STEM Expo Board and Executive Committee. “The decision on whether to hold a future air show and STEM Expo will be determined in the coming months based on conversations with our corporate and organizational partners.”
This year’s show, which featured the Navy’s Blue Angels, raised $100,000.
