(KMOV.com) – Three suspects are in custody and charged with spray painting buildings and using gasoline to set fire to playground equipment at an elementary school in High Ridge.
Police said 19-year-old Tanner Marricle of Safford, Az. and two 17-year-old males are charged with three counts of property damage for the incidents on May 4.
According to police, the suspects spray painted buildings, signs and the parking lot. Police say the suspects also used gasoline in an attempt to set fire to a decorative pillar and succeeded in using gasoline to set fire to playground equipment at Murphy Elementary School.
Police say the total cost of the damage was $27,500.
