MEHLVILLE, Mo. (KMOV) -- Police are looking for a man accused of holding up a bank in Mehlville.
The robbery happened around 9:45 a.m. on Monday at the Montgomery Bank in the 3800 block of Union.
St. Louis County police have identified the suspect as Timothy M. Shaw, 37.
Authorities say Shaw walked into the bank, displayed his weapon as he approached the teller and demanded money.
After taking an undisclosed amount of money, police say Shaw left the scene in a white vehicle.
St. Louis police later found the vehicle. It had been abandoned in South City near Chippewa and Grand.
Authorities are still looking for Shaw. They believe he may be in the possession of a weapon and should be considered dangerous.
