(KMOV)—A report of a suspected abduction led police on a chase throughout north St. Louis for hours Sunday.
According to the St. Louis Police Department, officials received a call stating that several suspects forced a man into a car at gunpoint at Moline and Rosa Lee, and drove away.
Police received a description of the car, located it, and attempted to pull it over. The suspects allegedly refused to stop, and officers lost sight of them for a time. County authorities spotted the car again at West Florissant and Taylor and proceeded to follow the vehicle.
The car crashed at West Florissant and Eton during the chase. The suspects fled.
Police found the victim and say he is not cooperating with the investigation. He has been released, and the suspects are still at large.
The SLMPD tells News 4 it appears to have been a drug deal gone bad.
