Reward offered for information leading to arrest of UMB bank robber

(KMOV.com) -- Town and Country police are looking for a bank robber who pulled a handgun on a UMB Bank teller.

Officials said at approximately 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, the robber entered the UMB Bank in the 13000 block of Manchester Road in Town and Country and demanded money.  The robber pulled out a handgun and pointed it at a teller and forced two bank customers and two other bank employees to get on the ground.

The teller gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of money.  According to police, the robber left in a silver vehicle.

Police describe the suspect as a black male, 5'7" to 5'10" tall and has a stocky build.  At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a red baseball cap with the letter "P" on the front, sunglasses, a dark-colored bandanna, a white jacket over a long sleeve whit shirt and white gloves.
