ST. LOUIS (KMOV) – St. Louis County is taking action to put up more tornado warning sirens after the recent rash of storms that hit the area in April. As many as six new sites are being secured for new sirens. Most of them will be in the southwest part of the county where there are no sirens. New sites include the Beaumont Scout Camp and two church properties in Ballwin. The warning system improvements should be finished before the end of summer. They will cover almost every corner of the county.
