(KMOV)-- Saturday was a day for massive cleanup, just more than a week after the Good Friday storms, and it continues on Sunday.

Many communities were damaged including neighborhoods in Ferguson, where multiple organizations were in full force assisting with the massive effort.

About 120 workers were out all day long, and did not wrap up until around 6 p.m. Saturday. They plan on working again Sunday.

The overall goal is to get out into the communities to help with debris removal, tree damage, and much more. Volunteers even moved insulation, as well as leaves off the sides of buildings.

First Baptist Church member Jeff Ahrens said parishioners from his church could not resist the people in need.
