(KMOV) -- Surveillance cameras catch a knife-wielding convenience store robber in the act.

The robber struck the Phillips 66 convenience store in Dardenne Prairie, Missouri just before 1 p.m. Sunday.

According to police, an employee was cleaning the floor when the suspect stormed in and demanded money.  Police said the man used a box cutter to threaten the frightened store attendant.

The suspect quickly emptied the cash drawer and ran out the front door where a small get away car was waiting. The suspect got away with $200 in cash.

Police do not have a description of the get away car, but they did release a description of the suspect.  The suspect is described as a white male, 20 to 25 years old, about 6 feet tall and 160 to 180 pounds.  He was wearing a white GAP hoodie at the time of the robbery.

Police are also looking for the suspect who was driving the get away vehicle.

If anyone has any information about this robbery, they are asked to call the St. Charles County Sheriffs Office.
