(KMOV) –- Two teen carjacking suspects were charged Friday after causing a fiery crash at a downtown restaurant thursday night and then leading police on an intense manhunt throughout downtown St. Louis.

The suspects charged are identified as 18-year-old Alon Monigan and 17-year-old Raymon Denzmore. They are both charged for carjacking, and Monigan faces charges for another robbery.

According to officials, a vehicle slammed into a parked vehicle in front of the Hooter's restaurant at 7th Street and Chestnut downtown. That parked car then went crashing into the restaurant, causing a fire.

Officers were following the vehicle that had been stolen from the 4th District when the driver lost control.

No injuries were reported.

The suspects ran from the scene, but were apprehended at 7th and Olive Street shortly before 10 p.m. Thursday night
