(KMOV)-- Police are seeking public assistance in locating the person responsible for a fatal accident that occurred in December.
Investigators believe there may be witnesses that have yet to come forward regarding the accident on December 30, that killed 48 year old Cynthia Fairchild.
Fairchild was struck and killed by a vehicle as she walked in the southbound lanes of S. Jefferson at the intersection of Hickory.
Investigators have now determined that the suspect vehicle is a 2007-2011 Chevrolet Suburban, dark in color with damage to the front grill. The suspect vehicle also has pillar lights that are located directly above the vehicle’s tail lights. The pillars lights are a custom add-on and may be configured as a two-light lamp located above the stock tail lights.
