(KMOV) -- The Major Case Squad announced on Friday that officials have found the killer of 35-year-old Ramone Cole who was found shot to death in Centreville.
Darnell Northington, 36, is charged with 1st Degree Murder in the death of Ramone Cole.
Police say Northington shot Cole in the back of the head last week at Cole’s residence in the 7900 block of Belleview.
When officers picked up Northington, they say he had a gunshot wound to the leg. Investigators say the suspect and the victim knew each other, and police believe the two got into a heated dispute over drugs.
Bond for Northington is set at $1 million. He is currently being held at the St. Clair County Jail.
