(KMOV)-- A man is now charged after injuring an officer and leading a police chase.
Shad Cory, 37, is charged with 2nd Degree Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer and Resisting Arrest.
Police say an officer reached his arm into Cory’s car when he saw drugs. That’s when Cory drove away, dragging the officer by his arm, which was caught in the window.
The chase then started in the 5300 block of Minerva in north St. Louis, and ended when Cory’s vehicle crashed into another at Big Bend and Bompart in Webster Groves.
Cory is now being held on a $100,000 secured bond.
