CAPE GIRARDOU, Mo. (AP) -- Sam Goodman had 16 points to lead five players in double figures Thursday as Morehead State beat Southeast Missouri State 76-63 for its sixth straight victory.
Terrance Hill added 12 points, while Drew Kelly, Demonte Harper and Kenneth Faried had 11 each for the Eagles (12-6, 5-2 Ohio Valley).
Leon Powell scored 20 points for Southeast Missouri (5-12, 4-3), which had won five of its last six games. Lucas Nutt added 14 points, Anthony Allison 12 and Marland Smith 10.
Morehead State trailed 28-22 with 8:03 left in the first half before going on a 13-3 run to take the lead for good. Southeast Missouri was within 41-37 at halftime but the Eagles scored the first six points of the second half.
After Goodman scored on a 3-point play with 15:28 remaining to make it 54-42, Morehead State led by double digits the rest of the way.
