(KMOV) – Victims of the New Year’s Eve tornados across the area are still struggling and dealing with the aftermath of the storms.

In Sunset Hills, snow now covers the ruins of several homes on West Watson Road. FEMA and state inspectors have been to the scene, but some storm victims say they’re frustrated with the process.

“Somebody needs to come in here with a front loader and clear away the rest of the debris,” says tornado victim Kevin Musgrove. “I don't know if I'm supposed to hire someone to do that, or if the city plans to. I need to know what the process is going to be.”

Last Friday, O’Leary’s restaurant reopened after replacing much of the glass on the front of the restaurant. On Wednesday, O’Leary’s will hold a fundraiser with KTRS radio to benefit the Sunset Hills Tornado Assistance Fund.
