(KMOV)-- A former Uplands Park Police Officer is pleading guilty to federal charges of stealing money from prostitutes.
Justin Scott Biancardi admitted to a single count of “conspiracy against rights”, although investigators say the shakedowns happened at least 10 to 15 times during 2009.
Biancardi admitted in court that he and Uplands Park Police Officer Leon Pullen “set up” prostitutes so they could steal money and property from them. No paperwork was ever filed.
Biancardi faces up to ten years in prison and/or a fine of $250,000 when he is sentenced April 13th.
Pullen has also entered a guilty plea, and will be sentenced January 28th.
