(KMOV) – The Granite City Police Department is searching for a bank robber who is accused in two different hold-ups.

The first robbery happened on December 17, 2010 at the US Bank on Nameoki Road. The second robbery happened January 5 at the Guardian Savings Bank  also on Nameoki Road.

In both cases, the suspect claimed to have a weapon. However, he never showed one. He also left both banks with an undisclosed amount of money.

Anyone with information is asked to call CrimeStoppers or Granite City police.
