(KMOV) -- Firefighters worked to put out a two alarm house fire that broke out in O’Fallon on Monday.
Authorities say that around 11:55a.m., the fire started in the basement of a building on the 900 block of Northridge Court, while a plumber was doing work.
The fire spread to the first floor after firefighter entered the building.
Authorities were worried about structural damage and collapse, so firefighters pulled out of the basement.
There is no information on a cause of the fire.
No injuries have been reported.
