(KMOV) – St. Louis University says it’s conditionally readmitting former SLU basketball player Willie Reed. He is eligible to enroll in classes for the semester, but he is suspended for the ream indefinitely.
Reed met earlier this week with SLU administrators.
As a result of readmitting Reed, university officials instituted a series of conditions that Reed must follow to remain a SLU student. He must prove he can be a successful student inside and outside the classroom.
Earlier this week, guard Kwamain Mitchell was readmitted to SLU. Both were removed from the university just before the season began for violating the school’s code of conduct after St. Louis police investigated a claim of sexual assault on campus.
No charges were filed
