(KMOV.com) - Doug Vaughn and I just wrapped up a quick news conference with Mark McGwire.  Number 25 stepped outside to meet with the media that were waiting outside.  McGwire talked about his first day as hitting coach, but the steroid question came up quick.  McGwire repeated the same statements as before, saying he was sorry for doing it, that he didn't have any information on other players and that he did it for health reasons.  I got the entire thing on tape and I will be feeding back video for the website.  Look for the entire clip on KMOV.com a little later this evening.  It looks like we were the only St. Louis television here at the time.

On another note, I did an interview with Yadier Molina a little while ago.  Look for that on the site here shortly.  Keep checking in.

(KMOV.com) - Mark McGwire caught everyone off guard this morning when he arrived at Roger Dean Stadium.  The members of the media were set up near the entrance to the clubhouse when McGwire suddenly appeared, and hoofed it into the building.  I did get some video of him walking in, I will post that in a bit.  A short time later he appeared, ready to go to work sporting the familiar #25.

I have been here since Sunday, and there are more media here than before.  As a result everything is more restricted on where we can go.  Rather than setting up shop in a batting cage next to the media "pen" ... McGwire moved to a cage a little farther down the way, making it tougher to get a clear shot of him with my video and still cameras.

Excitment is building!  Keep checking in and I will keep you posted on what's shaking in Jupiter.
