(KMOV) -- A car slammed into two St. Louis businesses overnight and the driver took off before police arrived.
The vehicle smashed into a wall damaging the Metropolitan St. Louis Taxi-Cab Comminssion and shattered the front glass of the Fastenal supply store next door.
Police became aware of the crash around 1:15 Wednesday morning when the burglary alarm went off at the Fastenal supply store because of the shattered front glass.
There is no word on what caused the Illinois driver of the blue two-door car to crash.
