(KMOV)- "Operation BELLA VIDA- A Celebration for Women of Strength" is an art exhibit featuring nearly fifty images depticting women who found out they had breast cancer in their 30's and 40's.
Co-owner of Bella Vida Studios, David Wild, announced that the display will be open to the public in the Belleville studios from Thursday, February 25th to Sunday, February 28th.
"Breast cancer doesn't only attach the body itself, but can leave lasting effects on the woman's mind, self image and soul," Wild said. "That's why we started Operation BELLA VIDA in partnership with area breast cancer organizations to give breast cancer patients and survivors the chance to celebrate their beautiful life with free photography sessions and help boost their morale and self empower them against the disease."
News 4's Vicki Newton sat down with Wild and three of the women who participated. She said she was very impressed with what they had to say.
