(KMOV)-- Starting today you'll see "shoe mobiles" around town, at places like city hall. In honor of Go! St. Louis's 10th anniversary, the non-profit, dedicated to fitness and healthy living, is giving back.
Its "Share a Pair" program will last all year. Organizers hope to collect more than 20,000 pairs of shoes to give to MERS Goodwill.
"We prefer athletic shoes, but certainly penny loafers, nice heals, any kind of shoes people would be proud to wear," Nancy Lieberman, Go! St. Louis president, says.
Go! St. Louis has also just announced that it's expanding its half marathon this spring to accommodate more runners. For more information, contact Go! St. Louis.
