(KMOV) -- An overnight police chase involving U.S. Marshals and the FBI ends with a car crashing into the side of a building with three men arrested.

Authorities told News 4 they responded to a call of shots being fired near the Roosevelt housing project in East St. Louis after midnight. As they approached the area they saw two cars pull away. As police pulled behind one of the vehicles it fled and police gave pursuit.

Authorities said a short distance later the vehicle crashed into a house near 62nd and Caseyville in Washington Park.

East St. Louis, Washington Park and Illinois state police were also on the scene along with U.S. Marshals and the FBI.

Charges are expected Saturday against the three suspects apprehended by police. The suspects never fired at police.
