It's got to be one of the craziest crimes that I've come across. Someone stole a beer bong and the victim was so outraged that they called police and reported the crime. They described the alleged beer bong thieves to police and currently a local police department is investigating this crime. Where? Keep reading. [Note: I've been unable to gather statistics on this category of crime, so it's unclear if this is a growing crime problem or not.]
If you haven't been to college in awhile or you actually spent all of your time studying, let me explain what a beer bong is. According to Wikipedia, a beer bong is a funnel with a tube attached that's "used as a means to consume a large amount of alcohol in a small amount of time." [note photo above] But, you don't have to make your own anymore, you can buy them online.
The Brick House Tavern in Chesterfield sells beer in a bong. You can buy a full or half bong of beer. And according to police reports two 23-year old customers are suspected of stealing one of the restaurants beer bongs around 12:30am on the morning of Saturday, January 30th. The value of the loss is estimated to be $100 dollars. It must have been a really nice, custom beer bong because you can find a double-header beer bong for under $20 online.
