(KMOV) -- The days of Chase Daniel, Jeremy Maclin and Chase Coffman leading Missouri's high powered offense are over - and the media has noticed.
Media members who cover the conference correctly predicted the Tigers would win the last two Big 12 North titles. Today, they announced they believe Nebraska will win the Big 12 North in 2009, while Kansas will finish second and Mizzou will come in third.
Nebraska tied the Tigers for the North title last year, but Missouri advanced to the Big 12 Championship game because they beat the Huskers in a head-to-head matchup.
The media is split on who will win the Big 12 South. Texas received 16 votes, as did National Championship runner-up Oklahoma.
