Baylor beats Missouri, 8-7, in doubleheader opener

WACO, Texas (AP) -- Shaver Hansen hit his 12th home run and Dustin Dickerson singled with the bases loaded in the bottom of the 11th inning to help Baylor beat Missouri 8-7 Saturday.

The teams played the second game of a doubleheader Saturday night.

Dickerson's winning single extended his hitting streak to 18 games, longest in the Big 12 this season. It came after Josh Ludy walked, Landis Ware reached on a fielder's choice after putting down a sacrifice bunt and Brooks Pinckard singled.

Missouri (17-18, 6-8 Big 12) tied the score at 7-7 in the eighth on a two-run single by Matt Folgia, who was 3-for-5 with three RBIs.

Aaron Miller (3-0) came out of the bullpen to pitch eight innings, striking out 10. Brad Buehler (1-2) took the loss.
