Police search for 2 men charged with breaking into Collinsville home

COLLINSVILLE, Ill. (KMOV.com) -- Madison County police are searching for two men who allegedly stole more than $6,000 in electronics and stereo equipment from a Collinsville home.

Police were called to the 7100 block of Loyet Road around 6 p.m. on Sept. 12. Homeowners told police unknown suspects broke into the residence and stole numerous items while the family was away.

Matthew Conrad, 24, and Jason Brown, 36, were charged with felony residential burglary following a police investigation.

Police say the roughly $4,000 in stolen property recovered in the investigation helped link Conrad and Brown to the crime.

Bond for the two men was set at $100,000.
