ST. LOUIS (BaseballStL) – The Cardinals may dodge Astros starter Bud Norris on Thursday afternoon due to an illness.

Norris has been dealing with flu-like symptoms this week which may force the Astros to scramble to find a new starter.

The right-hander is 7-4 with a 2.61 ERA in 13 starts against the Cardinals.  His career record is 26-36 with a 4.49 ERA.

Edgar Gonzalez is expected to make the start if Norris is ruled out, according to Zachary Levine of the Houston Chronicle.
