FLORISSANT (KMOV.com) - News 4 has learned a woman accused of selling bad insurance kept doing so even after her license was revoked.

Wendi Glass of Versatile Management Group or VMG is accused of selling insurance to customers and leaving them uncovered. She is already facing forgery and theft charges.

News 4 has spoken with several customers who say they went to file a claim and found out they don't have a policy even though they paid the premiums. Police are also telling News 4 they are getting more calls about VMG. Police say she kept selling insurance even though her license was revoked last year.

"At this stage we need people to find out when they had real policies versus when they had fake policies, when they got documents, where they got documents how much they paid did they pay by cash, by check or did their mortgage co-pay for them?" said Detective A.J. Soll of the St. Louis County Police.

Police served a search warrant at VMG's offices but they say the record keeping was poor.

Some customers paid VMG in cash. Detectives say if you did business if Wendi Glass gather any paper work if you are going to file a police report.
