ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV) —Police had two suspects in custody after they crashed into a police cruiser before leading officers on a foot chase in south St. Louis early Monday morning.
Police said a female officer was traveling east at the intersection of Arsenal and Arkansas Street around 1 a.m. when the suspects allegedly ran a stop sign and slammed into the officers' vehicle.
The two suspects fled the scene on foot.
One suspect was caught a few blocks away on Juniata, while the second suspect was caught later in the morning .
The officer was taken to an area hospital for treatment for minor injuries. She has since been released.
