ST. LOUIS (KMOV) – Police are searching for a suspect who hit a man with a baseball bat during a dispute in downtown St. Louis early Friday morning.
Police said two men got into an argument in the parking lot near the intersection of N. 11th and Washington around 3:30 a.m.
According to police, the suspect grabbed a baseball bat from his vehicle and chased the victim, who pulled out a pocket knife for protection.
Police said the suspect then hit the victim with the baseball bat, causing him to drop the knife.
The suspect picked up the knife off the ground and cut the victim on his hands.
The suspect then fled the scene, police said.
