Police: No Connection Between Flashing Cases

While police in Webster Groves and Brentwood are looking for a man flashing children in and around that area, they do not believe a recent arrest in Hazelwood will help close their cases.

Hazelwood Police arrested Kevin Hake, 30, and accuse him of flashing a 19 year old woman and 15 year old girl in separate incidents in September and October.  Hake faces misdemeanor sexual misconduct charges.

Hake was arrested Tuesday night. Police say he admitted to exposing himself to both victims. Hazelwood's police chief told me that Hake said that he "needs help."

Webster Grove police interviewed Hake Wednesday morning, but don't believe he is linked to their open flashing cases.  They say Hake does not match the description of a blonde, white male in his late 20s or early 30s with little to no facial hair.  Investigators also can't put him in a black vehicle with gray or silver stripes, like the one victims reported seeing in the west county cases.
