Wind, storms, rollercoaster temperatures and snow are all in the forecast this week.
Conditions will remain windy ahead of a cold front that will move through on Tuesday. There is a risk of strong storms with potentially damaging winds mainly early on Tuesday.
Behind the front, a very strong northwest wind will bring in much colder temperatures. As a matter of fact, I expect Tuesday's noon temperature at about 60 degrees and a 5pm temperatures of about 30! Those cold temperatures will turn the rain to some light snow before ending Tuesday evening.
It gets even more interesting on Thursday when it appears we may have a major winter storm on our hands. A deepening low pressure area is expected to track just to our south and potentially dump some significant snowfall. It's too early to give projections on snowfall total but several inches are certainly not out of the question. The snow will end Friday afternoon. Stay tuned!
